Step-by-Step Installation: Fitting the BE-TOYCAM-G8 in Your Camry

Step 1: Trunk Preparation & Trial Fitment

Remove the factory floor mat and loosen the plastic retention clips securing the driver-side felt liner inside the trunk cavity.

Pull back the liner to expose the inner sheet metal quarter panel. Position the BE-TOYCAM-G8 inside the pocket to confirm that the rear fiberglass shell sits flush against the inner body panel.

Step 2: Power Wire Routing

Run an 8-gauge 100% oxygen-free copper (OFC) power cable from the positive terminal of the 12V battery through the main rubber firewall grommet into the cabin. (Note: On certain Camry Hybrid trims where the 12V auxiliary battery is located inside the trunk, power routing stays entirely within the rear cargo area).

Install an inline fuse holder within 18 inches of the battery terminal. Ground the amplifier to an unpainted factory chassis bolt inside the trunk.

Step 3: Tapping the Audio Signal
