The NSW V2 has been in production for a long time and is now discontinued.... Its good to have it along with my VCW V2 15", but as well of a deal the VCW V2 was; This was a phenomenal deal!!! Cheap with quality in mind, 2" coil and a heavy motor.... The subwoofer closes in on 8 pounds of weight. Similar 10" subwoofers of similar price range come to mind: CT Sounds BIO 10", DS18's select SLC MD10, and the MTX TN10. Definitely heavier and more powerful than a TN10, while the SLC MD10 has similar power handling specifications, but both of these options are limited to SVC, and weak, basic crimp terminals for their hookups. I believe the push terminals on the NSW V2 can accept up to 10 or 12 gauge wiring options. This subwoofer edges out the CT BIO 10, with its MSRP/Sale price range, but not with much else, BIO 10's are more powerful, with similar SPL enclosure specifications and have identical configurations for wiring. After the closeout of these, you may be looking at the BIO 10's, but look to the new NSW-V3 if you want even more power and a way bigger motor!! ALL IN ALL I'M HAPPY I GOT ONE OF THESE BEFORE IT'S CUT OFF FROM PRODUCTION. IT'S POWERFUL, WITH CONVENIENT MOUNTING DEPTH, PLENTY OF WIRING CONFIGURATIONS, AND SOUNDS SMOOTH.
