These went into a 2002 subaru forester. 6.5 in the front, 4" in the rear. Alpine headunit, no Amp. At first I was little underwhelmed at the sound quality. But after the first week breaking them in, they loosened up a bit and came alive. The 6.5 are rich and have good low end, even with low pass at 80herts, and clear highs. The 4" obviously don't get low, but the highs are clear and crisp. Remind me of my infinity kappas. Only issue is the 4" mount a little too deep with the tweeters, so the stock covers wont fit. But these speakers look good, so it's no big deal

These things simply blow everything away, and are an unbelievable bargain. I had some focal 6.5 which were impressive detail, sounded great, but the nvx really bring the needed mids and bass. Just buy em.

Sounds great! Just installed them today to replace some Kicker KS 6.5 inch speakers. I can confirm that they do in fact sound better than the Kicker KS series! I do hope they hold up just as long though (2013-2023 Kickers).
