XGR525 Universal 5.25" Speaker Grilles Sold as Pair

new speaker covers for my fifth wheel camper.

Beautiful build quality, I understand why they are not included, most of the time they are not needed in cars. But since Im installing these in speaker boxes I built, I went with them. Glad I didnt need to buy generic POS grills.

These grilles are simple and attractive. The plastic base goes under the speaker, then the metal grille snaps in after the screws are installed.There is a shallow recess in the base that the speaker fits into. No logo--I think they would work with most 5-1/4 in speakers, except ones with a "pincushion" basket or a really tall tweeter. The base is 6-1/2 inches across, so make sure you have room. I put a few spots of dum-dum (auto body sealer) in the slot where the metal grille fits just to make sure it didn't buzz.

Used these on some Q-Logic kick panels. Perfectly sized. They did not have the NVX logo like the picture but that’s exactly what I was hoping for; very clean.Only con is the grills are prone to popping out. If you bend the mesh out just a tad they stay attached better.

I bought these because I made custom door panels, and the thought of the speaker showing was cool, but was nervous about somebody kicking my tweeters. Well the covers are sturdy, and can be slightly flexed for your needs.
