No more searching for vintage JL's for SQL

It used to be the only sub I'd ever run for an SQL set-up was the JL Audio 12W6v2 and it was the GOAT for many years for they people looking for a certain 'feel' in their audio system. It was by far the cleanest most musical sub ever built and remained at that level for a long time, thus it had been sought after even a decade after the v3 came out, as the v3 was not as good. I started buying the vc series subs back when the v1 came out and was already impressed due to its price to feature ratio. Now we have the v3's and let me tell you. Nothing comes close. They are the only 12 I have come across that has an fs below 30Hz and and RMA above a thousand watts. When you pair it with the right power and enclosure, it is the tightest, most responsive driver you will ever run, even at power beyond root mean square. In my '16 Ram 2500 Quad Cab I have four 2-Ω in a multi-chamber vented enclosure with each chamber @1.5 net ft³ and tuned to 30 Hz with ports and subs firing against the amp rack on the back wall and driven by two Zapco Z-II 3KD monoblocks. You'd think they were sealed with how flat the response is throughout the range all the way to 150Hz. Getting them down low, they hang and bang under 30Hz, but they also shine when I am listening to my metalcore and post hardcore stuff where the double kicks are blazing fast and also have crazy bass drops and breakdowns that run together in the tracks and they don't mud up or miss anything in the recording. These guys don't flinch for that, or dubsteb, but are sensitive enough for jazz and classical music as well. I listen to everything under the sun as far a genre goes and I can not praise these subs enough in their accurate reproduction of every nuance in low end to the impact in which bass or timpani drums kick you in the chest and ring through your head. I credit myself with designing killer enclosures, but these drivers are absolute monsters in their own right and I really don't think there is anything out there that is even in the same league as far as a do it all sub. Thanks NVX for keeping the R&D in there with the VC's and listening to us customers when we make suggestions, unlike so many other companies. On that point, I hope to see some SQ amps in the future to pair with these guys so I don't need to go brand jumping on my builds from here on out.

great speaker

very pleased. i bought this as a back up to my main sub rockvile destroer d1 that went out. Im a Bass head and did not want to wait for warranty repair. so i bought this on. Ittakes up less thean half the space as my comp let me tell you it takes it hard. im thinking of geting a second and selling my comp sub doing dual 12's. I have bought 4 of the same 10 for my daughters and they love them and i hace the cabon fiber 6.5 componit and very happy with them. they take the abuse and want more!

Big Boom for a Small Price

Whenever someone asks me for subwoofer recommendations, I always point them towards NVX's DVC subwoofers. I have one of these bad boys paired up with an NVX amplifier and I am nothing but impressed. I can feel the bass radiating through the cabin of the vehicle; all the mirrors on my vehicle shake like crazy when the volume is turned up. In addition to that, the sound quality is quite good. All of this from a $200 subwoofer is very impressive to say the least. If you're looking for a high quality, well rounded sub, then look no further. This is the product for you.
