NBA201 1400W Peak (700W) RMS N-Series Class A/B 2-Channel Amplifier

Bought 4 of these amps off Amazon December 28, 2022. Did some bench testing for low voltage protection, high voltage protection, and speaker output short circuit protection. Amplifier passed with flying colors. Next was sound quality test which is purely subjective. I am very particular with sound quality. I will put these amps up against my old school Phoenix Gold M series amps any day of the week. Plain and simple I am blown away by the performance of these amplifiers ESPECIALLY for the price point. Very warm sounding. Very reliable. Very powerful. Surprisingly does not get hot running at 4 ohm stereo. That is surprising for any class A/B amplifier. This review is coming from a 47 year old car audio enthusiast that started the journey at 14 years of age.

I have to admit I was a little worried about first choosing this amp, but I found out it was 100% worth it. The only thing I am a little surprised by would be the size, it looks a lot smaller in the photos rather than in person. So expect to make some room for it, and the fan works great too!

An absolutely amazing product. Delivers better than rated power.

However, it gets three stars for one reason only. The cooling fan mounted on the bottom of this amplifier does not work. I have spoken to others who own this same amplifier and they have the exact same problem. The fan never turns on no matter what temperature the amplifier reaches. When playing loud, the amplifier goes into protect after a few minutes of heating up. I am about to void the warranty by cracking the thing open and connecting the fan directly to 12 volt DC. If nvx could make contact with me to possibly fix this issue, I will change it to five stars. However I understand that this is only a $100 amplifier and it is probably not worth nvx's time to address this issue on such a low-cost product.

Sounds great for the price! Had a very slight hiss when turned on with no input so the signal to noise ratio may not be the best but definitely to be expected with a cheaper class ab amp. Overall super impressed with it running a set of Polk db652 and a set of db6502s. Very loud and very good sounding amp.

I am sure I would be able to leave an excellent review Once this product arrives. I am currently experiencing a nearly two-week delay in shipping. As a matter of fact, according to fedex, they still have not taken possession of the package.
