YOU WILL NEED a line-out converter to install an aftermarket android auto stereo and external amp

If you buy an Android auto stereo, YOU WILL NEED a line-out converter to install an aftermarket amplifier. Cut the high-level outputs [the speaker wires from the head unit to the factory harness] and wire to this line-out converter to the side going to the head unit. Then wire the amp high-level output [plugs that came with your amp] to the side going to the factory harness. Ensure you wire the 12v positive [red] from the line-out converter to the head unit 12v positive, the negative wire from the line-out converter [black] to the head unit negative, and the remote amp signal [blue] to the external amplifier remote signal input. Test and enjoy.

Great Little Line Output Converter

Great little device used to add a sub to a '25 Ram 1500. Once you locate and confirm the speaker wires for the rear door, it's super easy to tap them for this converter ..which then sends a signal/sound to the amp. No need to remove any dash skin or mess with the factory radio! This device also has a remote out (wire) to send signal "turn-on" the amp. (ie; no need to run blue wire all the way to your stereo or dash area anymore. Simply run the blue "remote wire" from this device to your amp. Always, Always check, confirm your ground wire (black) and 24v (red) are correctly terminated then protected (wire nut, tape, heat shrink) before connecting 24v power from car battery to the amp.
