Add An Amplifier To Your Stock System

The NVX XPLOC2 Premium line-out converter is the perfect solution for adding an aftermarket amplifier to your stock or aftermarket stereo system. The XPLOC2 handles a large amount input power (300 watts total, 150 per channel) uses the signal from your stock stereo or amplifier by tapping into the stock speaker wire and converting it to a 2-channel RCA signal output. This allows you to add an amp simply and effectively. It features a 3:1 Step down with an adjustable gain output, DC amplifier turn-on trigger and a 150 watt maximum input. The end result is a high quality line out converter with super low distortion, and as with all NVX products the engineering and build quality is second-to-none.

    1. Almost perfect for my system star rating

Posted by Marcus Groen on 18th Dec 2019

Overall: nice compact size, it will tuck just about anywhere. I especially like the DIN plug, this feature made constructing my wiring harness a breeze. The level adjustments are perfect for insuring that the amp isn't over-driven, it turns the amp on as soon as a signal hits. All an all it's perfect. Accept for one issue. I wish it had a delay for turning off. I am using my XPL0C2 to drive the sub channel on my Audi S5's Bang and Olufsen system. So it is only getting the bass signal. As a result it is not receiving the entire signal bandwidth. My issue is this, if there is a lull in the signal or during the space between songs, it shuts off until a signal is detected leaving a gap while it turns on again. I am missing a lot of down beats as a result. With that said I am using it in a rather extreme situation. It is an otherwise perfect solution for my problem. I would buy another one.
